We receive a lot of enquiries from schools searching for a new school uniform supplier. They wish to change school uniform suppliers for different reasons. Below are some of the most common questions we are asked by schools; 1.What are the costs of garments? The cost of garments is dependent on a number of factors. Large quantities will bring the price down, compared to small quantities. There are different fabric, colour, embroidery, and design options, which also influence the final price. We guarantee to match or beat your current or proposed supplier, on price. Get in touch to find out. 2.How can parents check sizes if there is no physical shop? Yes, all purchases of uniforms are done through the online store (except Tier 4). We have a very simple solution to parents checking sizes - we provide the school with a 'sample-set' of all garments, in all sizes. When we come in as a new supplier, it's normal for parents to be confused about whether or our sizes are small-fitting, large-fitting, or true-to-size. The sample set that remains in the school allows parents (and children) to check sizes, at the convenience of the school and families. 3.Can you design a new tracksuit from scratch? Yes, we can. A lot of schools are changing their uniforms. Some are getting rid of the formal school uniform (wool jumper, shirt & tie), and replacing it with a new tracksuit design. Other schools want to change the design of a tracksuit that they've had for years. We have assisted 100s of schools throughout Ireland to make these changes. You can choose from a set design, or we can develop a bespoke design with your school colours and crest. We start with a digital design of 3-4 different styles, your Board of Management chooses the one they like. We then produce a physical sample of the garments for your approval. You can check the quality from the physical samples. This process is very fast and assisted by our dedicated design team. 4.How does our school financially benefit? We are the only school uniform supplier in Ireland that shares profits with schools! Your school can financially benefit, every year, by choosing School & Sports Wear as your official supplier. Funding ranges from 10% to a massive 50%. Every garment sold results in a % of the profits going directly to your school. There are 4 Tiers to choose from, each with a different % and terms. Parents talk about our school uniforms being durable, good quality, washing well, and keeping their shape. 6.How long does it take to set up a new school uniform supplier? Everything going well we can have things set up within 6-8 weeks. The process of sourcing a new school uniform supplier does not have to be lengthy. The process goes like this; initial contact from school, supply information on school colours and embroidery crest file, receive 3-4 digital samples of different designs, receive physical samples, set up a dedicated online store for parents to order uniforms, receive stock, and manage everything in-between. You may need a uniform supplier for primary school or a school uniform supplier for a secondary school. We supply school uniforms to schools in Leinster, Connaught, and Munster. Delivery times vary based on the type and size of the order: • Standard orders: Typically ship within 1-3 days. • School uniform delivery can take 3-5 days during busy periods (July/Aug) • Customized orders: Delivered within 4-5 weeks after design approval. School and Sports Wear share a % of our profits with schools, making us the only supplier in Ireland dedicated to supporting schools financially. School Uniform sales result in Funding for your school on an annual basis. We offer 4 different Tiers to choose from. Tier 1 - 10% We partner with your school as an additional supplier of school uniforms, sharing 10% of the profits from each uniform sold. We handle all logistics, from purchasing and stocking the uniforms to processing online orders and delivering directly to parents. ​ Your school benefits from an annual budget allocation, determined by the number of uniforms sold. This budget, exclusively redeemable with School and Sports Wear, can be used to purchase sports equipment and/or team wear, fostering an enhanced sports programme for your students. Tier 2 - 20% In Tier 2, we become your school's sole uniform supplier, increasing the profit share to 20%. ​ As with Tier 1, the annual budget generated from uniform sales is allocated exclusively for sports equipment or team wear purchases, empowering your school to develop a vibrant sports culture. Tier 3 - 30% With Tier 3 - Parents place orders and pay on our platform, and we notify your school when an order has been received. The school handles school uniform storage, distribution, and delivery to students (or parents). ​​ Importantly, there are no limits on how schools use this funding. Schools are free to use the funds in whatever manner they wish. Plus, parents save on delivery costs as orders are managed in-house by the school. We provide guidance and expertise on successful set-ups. Note: There are a limited number of Tier 3 Partnerships available each year. ​​​ Tier 4 - 50% Our Mission is to increase the amount of profits that schools receive from uniform sales. In line with that mission we have increased Tier 4 from 40% up to 50% in 2025. Every €uro that your school makes, we make the equivalent amount. A 50/50 partnership. Our most rewarding Tier 4 gives your school a 50% profit share on all uniform sales. The profits for your school can amount to thousands of euro annually. Your school spends the money without any restrictions. Guaranteed funding every year!
